August marks Women’s Month in South Africa — a time to honour the courageous women of 1956 and to reflect on the ongoing journey towards gender equality. At Taung Security Solutions and Training Academy, we are proud to stand with the strong, resilient, and skilled women who are shaping the future of private security in our country.

Traditionally, the security industry has been male-dominated. But today, we see more and more women rising to take their place as protectors, professionals, and leaders — not just in the office, but on the ground, at the gate, and in the classroom. We celebrate those women this month — and every month.
